“If You Lead Me, I Will Follow” is the 10th Anniversary print that was released in September of 2010. The edition was limited to 200 prints. They are all signed and numbered. Each print is embossed on the bottom left side with the 10th Anniversary date and title. TRIVIA: This canvas was painted with old paints that had belonged to my mom who had passed away in 2002. I had found tubes of paint that had hardened at the opening but the tubes had “soft paint” at the end of the tubes. I cut off the ends of four random tubes and squeezed out paint onto a paper plate. I then realized that I did not want to waste the paint so I grabbed a canvas, a stubby paint brush (because I did not have any other brushes) and a cotton swab. The result is “If You Lead Me, I will Follow.” I used the large stubby brush to paint the background, the cotton swab to dot the pathway and the end of the brush handle to scrape lines into the paint at the bottom right side of the canvas - to reveal colors underneath. sms
